Down With The Dark Iron is related to the seasonal event Brewfest. Completing this achievement is also an objective of the meta achievement Fail:Achievement worldevent brewmaster.png [Brewmaster].

The Brewfest camp is attacked every half-hour. If you successfully defend the camp from the Dark Iron Dwarves, then they will leave behind a cog which you can loot and right-click to start the quest.
