Michael McConnohie is a voice actor who provided the voices of Uther the Lightbringer and Kel'Thuzad in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos,[1] and reprised his role as Kel'Thuzad in both Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne[1] and World of Warcraft.[1] He also provided the voices of Aeonus,[2] Epoch Hunter,[2] High Warlord Naj'entus,[3] and N. Kagnito[3] in World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade.

In World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, McConnohie voices the title character,[4] with Kel'Thuzad's voice being done by a new actor because the producers[4] wanted to avoid confusion.[3][5] Besides the Lich King, he also voices King Ymiron, Commander Kolurg,[1][3] and reprises his role as Uther the Lightbringer through archived soundbites from Warcraft III, and voiced new lines for Uther's appearances in Icecrown Citadel. He also voiced the Lich King for the commercial with Ozzy Ozbourne, claming "There can be only ONE Prince of Darkness!"[3]

In the Diablo universe, he voiced both Warriv and the Necromancer player character in Diablo II and Diablo II: Lord of Destruction.[1]

McConnohie and Melodee Spevack are, respectively, the president and vice-president of Voxworks, a Las Vegas-based company that provides professional voiceover and dubbing services for TV commercials, anime and video games; the two have worked jointly in various projects.[3][6]
