Random mountain kings were heroes of the Alliance during the Third War.
There were a few that listened to Jaina Proudmoore and sailed with her to Kalimdor. A random mountain king took command of the Gilneas Brigade, a detachment of Gilneas forces that chose to sail west, even though Gilneas had already left the Alliance prior to the fall of Lordaeron.
That mountain king alongside other four Alliance commanders, built settlements in the Barrens. The mountain king was attacked by Grom Hellscream and the Warsong clan, though the Human Expedition retaliated and attacked Thrall's encampment instead. Unable to keep them at bay, Thrall was forced to kill the Mountain King and his fellow commanders.
Another random mountain king defended the Stonetalon Mountains in Where Wyverns Dare, he was killed by Thrall, Cairne Bloodhoof and their warriors.
Later during The Founding of Durotar other random mountain kings served to Admiral Proudmoore but were killed by Rexxar and his compainions.
